MAGAZINE DESIGN SYSTEM : iPAD APPLICATION Utilizing previously developed wordmark and magazine designs, students will develop a companion ipad application to express the publication’s identity, design system and content in a digital form. GUIDELINES · Identify the reader's needs and organize the content information · Utilizing the unique visual language created, continue to explore the visual expression of the magazine in digital form · Determine appropriate proportions, grid structures, and typographic elements for on-screen reading · Consider compositional principles (alignment, hierarchy, flow, tension, etc.) · Integrate color palette and photographic style · Attention to all typographic detail is expected
